Before the Market Opens Sun Crest’s Satori software will automatically log to your Prime Broker servers and extract your position and trade information from the Prime system. Out of balance situations are flagged and the operations staff is alerted.
Market Opens:
Every Sun Crest user with a real-time license can launch Sun Crest with real-time update and view the Portfolio on a tick by tick basis – every other user can view positions with last night prices.
During the day:
Trades can be entered with a few clicks during the course of the day. The Portfolio(s) are immediately updated and trading errors are greatly reduced. Trades can be easily allocated across fund.
Pre-trade and post-trade compliance ensure that no trading rules are violated. Operations staff can confirm trades on system as fills come in from the broker.
When the Market Closes:
With a simple click, the trades are sent off to your Prime Brokers, including all away trades, omnibus formats, short covers etc.
The system extracts and stores closing prices, the portfolio is valued and reports produced.
